Aspen Technologies, Inc. was originally established
by Jeff Brown the President and CEO. Jeff recieved his master electrical
license in July of 1985 and his electrical contractor license in
December of 1986.

March 1987

Jeff received
his business license in West Jordan and the comany was formed
under the registered name Jeff Brown Electric. Shortly thereafter,
the company started doing telecommunications and security systems
for residential and small businesses. |

1989
|
Jeff Brown Electric
started to do commercial service work mostly for financial institutions. |

April 1990
|
Jeff Brown Electric
became incorporated. |

December 1996
|
The company transferred
it's business license from West Jordan to Salt Lake City. |

July 1997
|
Electrical contractor
licenses were received in both Idaho and Wyoming. |

August 1999
|
Due to the high demand
of telecommunications and networking services, Jeff Brown Electric
changed it's name to Aspen Technologies, Inc. |
